Procedures & Policies

New Members

New members will not be able to participate until the club has received their completed Registration Form and term fee.  The registration form contains the emergency contact information required should your child become ill or in the unlikely event that they are injured.
It is a requirement of the comprehensive insurance provided to Flic Flac by British Gymnastics, that all club members also register with British Gymnastics.

At Classes

  • Children should go to the toilet before their session so they don't miss out on any activities.

  • Children should arrive dressed ready for training. Shoes and outer clothing may be left in the changing room and any jewellery or watches should be left safely at home.

  • Children should bring a water bottle clearly labelled with their name. Water bottles must not be shared.

  • Gymnasts with long hair should have it tied up at all times. This stops it from obstructing their vision or getting caught in their hands when they're upside-down, which could be dangerous.

  • Parents should escort their child/ren to the gym hall for the start of their session where the coach will take the register.

  • Children must arrive in good time to be changed and ready to start class on the hour. Late-comers arriving after the class has started may not be permitted.

  • If a child is showing symptoms of Covid or is otherwise unwell they should not attend the session.

  • Gymnasts under 11 years old must be collected from the gym hall and signed out by an adult at the end of class.

  • Gymnasts who are 11 and over can sign themselves in and out if they have been given permission on their Registration Form.
